Review of Deviant Vows by Anna Widzisz and Shanjida Nusrath Ali

Deviant Vows (The Quarter Chronicles, #1)Deviant Vows by Anna Widzisz
My rating: 2 of 5 stars

5 stars for that fight scene though. Loved loved loved it.

After that?
Nope.

It's a shame because oh goodness the start was so good and then...
It just..
Crashed.

I was loving reading about a powerful heroine but this was one just ridiculous and overdoing every action. Wish they had kept the same energy as the beginning instead of showing the heroine as a weird raging wannabe who is slapping the hero in every other scene.

Also, the hero.. what a joke. This is the most loser vibe gangsta I have ever read.

My expectations just got too high and then I was slapped back into reality. Yep.

Review of Vows of Hell (City of Stars#3) by Clara Elroy

Vow of Hell (City of Stars, #2)Vow of Hell by Clara Elroy
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Okay finally.
Fkn finally.

A GOOD reading time.

I absolutely loved this story and did not stop until I finished. I loved loved Ariadne and after a while even warmed up to Saint.

Goodness this is my first book by this author but damn it can she write! Where have I been!

The story was really good and although we get the classic trope and all the merger and clauses yada yada, the plot was so good. Although this book would be perfect with a liiiiittle bit of polishing and another round of editing but it's still written really well. All the stories that are going on weren't too jumbled up, the side characters made sense and weren't really pointless. You kinda like em too.

Oh and also the chemistry between the two was just phenomenal.

I had a grand time after so long! I am so happy to have stumbled on to this author! I will be reading more and more. I am just so happy after reading this ahhhhh the bliss is finally back.

Title: Blackmailing His Bride
Series: Paravel Series #3
Author: Brianna Hale
Genre: Steamy Contemporary Romance
Release Date: February 24, 2021

I bled and struggled in darkness to place King Anson on the throne, and I’ll do whatever it takes to keep him there. I’ve never asked for anything in return. I don’t want recognition. I don’t need thanks.

But the moment I lay eyes on her, I want Sachelle Balzac.

A family calamity has Sachelle neck-deep in trouble that goes all the way to the top. I’m the only one who can keep her secret safe, but my protection comes with a price.

I want everything from Sachelle, and I’m going to get it any way I can. She says it’s blackmail. I say seduction.

Either way, I win.

AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is the third book in the Paravel series. They are intended to be read in order.

My Review

There’s nothing Brianna Hale likes more than a large, stern alpha male with a super-protective and caring streak, and when she’s not writing about them she can usually be found with a book, a cocktail, planning her next trip to a beautiful location or attending the theatre. She believes that pink and empowerment aren’t mutually exclusive, and everyday adventures are possible. Brianna lives in London.

ARC Review of Blackmailing His Bride by Brianna Hale

Blackmailing His Bride (Court of Paravel, #3)Blackmailing His Bride by Brianna Hale
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Wow and wow!!
I knew this was gonna be good but I wasn't ready for it to be so frigging amazing!

I had the absolute time of my life devouring this baby I really didn't want it to end. I loved Jakob and I loved Sachelle even more.
Both of them were made for eachother and you could feel their chemistry was insanely explosive and not every author can do that. It takes special chops to make your reader fall instantly in sync with the story and make them feel the chemistry and get them hooked. Nothing feels more satisfying than falling the flow of story and the reading.

Jakob was total alpha but Sachelle I loved for her courage in what she wanted to do. To heck with consequences.

It feels fantastic to finally get lost in a story and do not wanna come up for air. This one was a long awaited one and trust me it is worth it. It packs everything so perfectly and you want more more more.

Thank you so much Brianna Hale for a fantastic reading time.

ARC Review of His to Keep by Mink

His to KeepHis to Keep by MINK
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I think it is safe to say that it has been a damn minute since I devoured and enjoyed a Mink book. Back when she first came to the writing scene, I remember I could not get enough of her books, she was that fantastic and amazing.

And this.. This.. Oh my goodness THANK YOU,MINK!

I absolutely loved this story. It was everything
My state was somewhat similar to this throughout reading it.

I fell in love with Cillian from the first word and I am so beyond grateful I got the ARC. I had the best time in a long while.
Perfection.
It was so reminiscent of her initial releases writing style and I instantly fell in the flow.
